The Companies Registry, Registrar General’s Department acts only as receivers and transmitters of information filed by registered companies and businesses and as such we cannot guarantee the suitability, correctness, accuracy, completeness, timeliness or reliability of the information.

The information being transmitted in this service relates solely to companies incorporated, registered or continued under the Companies Act 1995 and to business names registered under the Business Names Act Ch. 82:85. Further, this service provides no scanned images of any documentation filed under the Companies Ordinance Ch. 31:01. Information filed pursuant to the Companies Ordinance Ch. 31:01 must be manually searched, in person, at the Companies Registry.  

This service  may be used to conduct a preliminary name search, however we do not guarantee that a name found not to be identical to the name of any registered company or, business name will be approved by the Registrar General. Further, such name search or name reservation must be filed, with the appropriate filing fee, in person at the Companies Registry. 

The Registrar General’s Department, is not liable for any damages, including any loss of profits or other incidental or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use this service. Further, this Department makes no representations express or implied ,as to the possible legal or other consequences arising from the use of  our services.
